ABOUT THE BUSINESS:

Piet Van Waarde is a pastor, photographer and author who uses his alternative style and past experiences of spirituality, resilience and strength to communicate to his peers through authentic, relatable personal stories and scripture. He considers himself the black sheep of pastors, since he doesn’t fit the mold. But he uses that unique brand personality to invite people into the faith who are seeking empathetic guidance and inspiration, rather than just preaching.

ABOUT THE BRANDING:

The logo is professional, with just a touch of edge. Piet’s concept of walking alongside his peers and sharing conversation is reflected in the extended parallel lines of the v & w. Though they are separate, they are on the same journey of faith together. His first name, Piet, is dominant and bold to symbolize his hope of being approachable and on a first-name basis with his audience and peers.
