SHOREWOOD BID

ABOUT THE BUSINESS:

Shorewood Business Improvement District (BID) was established in 1999 to help promote the Village of Shorewood, Wisconsin through elevated business services for local retail shops, restaurants, fitness centers, events, and more. Located just north of Downtown Milwaukee, the Village of Shorewood is at the crossroads of an urban and suburban lifestyle.

ABOUT THE BRANDING:

The Shorewood BID branding uses a simple, classic street sign symbol to bring to mind the Village’s crossroads of lifestyle. It also symbolizes the main intersection of Shorewood – Oakland Avenue and Capitol Drive – which are the two main business district streets. The symbol is also a nod to the village being known for its walk-ability and accessible local businesses.

The fonts used are balanced and modern, with a touch of unique art deco character – matching the aim of Shorewood to preserve some of the historic eclectic charm, but bring modern improvements throughout the village as well.
