ABOUT THE BUSINESS:
A Haven Away is a collection of boutique homestays on the East Coast available for short term rental. Owners and hosts, Blair and Nadia, go above and beyond for all their guests to make sure their stay is comfortable and memorable. From the thoughtfully designed, bold interiors to the perfectly curated furniture and decor, the Haven rentals are a reinvigorating, inspiring haven away from home.
ABOUT THE BRANDING:
The A Haven Away logo suite is warm, inviting and invigorating with the energetic sun symbol and custom abstract arch illustration used throughout the branding.
The main font is bold and has a playful, fun flow with the swooping letters, which were customized to be balanced within the brand name. The secondary font is casual and friendly, with it’s rounded edges and typewriter or handwritten feel.
The slightly imperfect edges of the the circle shape, sun symbol and arch illustration are inviting and organic, reflecting a sense of hand-drawn effort, much like that of every hands-on detail in the Haven rentals.
The custom arch symbol is reminiscent of the eclectic patterns found throughout artwork, tile, furniture and natural textures in the Haven rentals. It is unique and thoughtful, being able to morph into different types of abstract shapes depending on what the viewer sees – flower, leaf, landscape, sunrise.
